Mike Graves, aka “Low Kick Slick”, is a San Antonio, Texas based martial artist and teacher. Mike began his martial arts journey as an American serviceman while stationed in the UK, studying tajiquan and qigong. His early exposure to a martially-oriented style of tai chi led him to test himself against other like minded individuals. Today he teaches a style both traditional and practical in the U.S. and around the world.
Josh Paynter is the co-abbot of Parting Clouds Daoist Temple and Education. He is one of the US delegates to the World Daoist Federation. He has translated the primary liturgical texts of the Long Men temple system and continues to work on others. He teaches in various Chinese Medicine doctoral programs.
Master Hai Yang, born and raised in Tianjin, China, began his Xing Yi training at the age of 6 under the guidance of his grandfather, Yang Qinglin, a disciple of Zhang Zhaodong. Dolly Yang is a researcher in the History of Chinese Medicine. Her research explores social and cultural aspects of bodily practices in pre-modern China. She received her PHD in 2018 from University College in London UK and currently resides in the UK.
