DAOI Talks (50): Wu De – Martial Morality w/ Sifu Mimi Chan 🇺🇸

Sifu Mimi Chan, daughter of kung fu pioneer Pui Chan, is the Chief Instructor at the Wah Lum Temple in Orlando Florida. Named “Woman of the Year” in 1999 by Inside Kung Fu magazine, and selected by Disney to be the model for Mulan in the original animated film of the same name, Mimi has used her position to become an advocate for various causes, including “Make Us Visible Florida”, and working to pass legislation requiring that AAPI history be taught in grades K-12 in the state.
